Sportsbooks are constantly providing daily offers and promotions to incentivize bettors to use their platform. These promotions offer great opportunities to get value in your bets, but more importantly they generate significant arbitrage opportunities. For this reason, It is important to understand what they are and how to use them.
Refers to the credit provided by the sportsbook where, upon winning a bet, the original bet amount (known as the stake) is returned. Site Credit is often automatically applied and can be divided into multiple bets.
This allows you to place a bet without using funds from your bankroll. Unlike Site Credit, the stake is not refunded upon winning. Usually, you need to opt to use a Bonus Bet, and only select sportsbooks allow you to split them into multiple bets.
You place this bet with your own money, but it's refunded if it loses. Typically, the refund comes in the form of Site Credit or a Bonus Bet. This is a common sign-up offer and is often automatically applied to your first wager. Keep in mind that converting a Second Chance Bet might require a one or two-step process.
This boosts your winnings by a certain percentage. There's often a maximum bet and/or maximum additional winnings associated with it.
Only a few sportsbooks offer these, such as SuperBook and Sahara Bets. Your wager is divided into cash and Bonus Voucher parts. Usually split 50/50, only the winnings (not the stake) are returned from the Bonus Voucher portion of the wager.
